Happy Turkey Day

Hi Everyone-

We went hunting the elusive, full, resplendent Christmas tree. We hiked for an hour or so and climbed maybe 1000 feet or so above the road go from one 'here it is!' to another disappointing, 'oh it isn't quite as full as it looked from below.' You may think from these photos we found quite a specimen, but don't be fooled, it isn't quite so full once felled. We had quite an exciting time descending with it back to level ground. It was a great time though and we had a blast, so now we have a 'unique' and wonderful Christmas Tree.

There is also a picture of Brother Earl relaxing on Ida's new bed. Christie made Ida a beautiful new bed of cordura fabric, but she is scared of it because it makes noise when she steps on it. Earl, of course, is not intimidated and has taken up residence in all of his regal splendor. He really loves the way it curls up around him to support his rolls.
